How to properly maintain your camping folding table?

Our camping tables and seating are designed for occasional outdoor use during camping trips, in your garden, or in nature. Continuous exposure to UV rays or moisture for several weeks can damage them. These products are not classified as “garden furniture” and are not designed to be left outdoors permanently. To ensure optimal product longevity, it’s important to store them when not in use.

Is the camping folding table repairable?

We have developed a repair patch for our camping tables and furniture.

  • Repair patch code: 8788176

If the tabletop is severely damaged, you can replace it:

  1. Fold the table.
  2. Unscrew the 5 screws in the central part.
  3. Remove the aluminium strip and then the tabletop.

Shower compatibility

This cabin has no roof to let light in and provide space for a suspended solar shower. If you are using the Quechua pressure shower, there is a hook on the wall of the cabin where you can attach the shower hose.
We have enlarged the groundsheet for added comfort. It is removable. A strap allows you to hang your towel. Tip! Put your spare clothes in the cabin’s cover and hang it on the outside hook.

Usage advice

After setting up the cabin, we recommend staking the 4 pegs for better stability and greater resistance to the wind. Be careful! The fabric may be slightly see-through at night when the inside is illuminated. We chose a lightweight fabric that isn’t too thick to allow natural daylight in during the day.

Living area and Bedroom

5 m² living area with a height of 1.90 m inside the tent.
This tent is equipped with a raised groundsheet at the entrance in case of rain and a transparent window with a flap.
The bedroom is designed to accommodate a maximum of four 60 cm wide mattresses. It can also fit a couple looking for a very spacious bedroom.

Assembly and disassembly

There are three poles to insert into their respective sleeves. You will find colour codes to guide you.
We recommend assembly with 2 people.

Floor area with guylines: 20 m²

Sun protection

The double roof fabric has a UPF 30 sun protection.
Be cautious: a significant amount of UV can enter through an open door.

Ventilation

The ventilated double roof above the living area allows air circulation and reduces condensation inside the tent. High ventilation openings are also placed at the front and back of the tent, along with mosquito nets on the door and at the back of the bedroom.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform. The goal is to expose each side of the tent to the same wind intensity.
When properly set up and with the guylines deployed, this tent remains habitable in wind force 6, measured at 50 km/h.

Waterproofing and sealed seams

We test our tents for waterproofing. The first test is conducted in a laboratory for 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per m², equivalent to a tropical rainfall of 200 mm per hour. The second test is carried out on-site in real conditions by our teams. This tent is equipped with a double roof made of polyurethane-coated polyester with a 2000 mm waterproof rating. It also features sealed seams with heat-sealed strips and a 140 g/m² polyethylene groundsheet.

Repairs

As designers and outdoor enthusiasts, we care about the durability of our products. That’s why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and pole repairs are available at the Decathlon workshop or on Decathlon.fr.

Poles and pegs

Poles – All our poles are made of fiberglass and undergo double quality control to ensure excellent breakage resistance.
Pegs – All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
