Stabilizers Information

Can small wheels be added?
Yes, if your child needs them. Our Btwin 16-inch stabilizers are compatible with this model.
However, studies suggest that young riders will progress more easily and quickly to cycling if they master balance first on a balance bike (without pedals). Ideally, children should learn balance on a balance bike or a 2-in-1 bike (like our 14″ Discover 500 and 900).

Choosing a Learning Bike

To help your child learn to ride a bike confidently, we recommend avoiding a bike that’s too large. At Decathlon, we carefully indicate sizes to help you choose the best-suited bike.
Tip: Consider renting a bike! If your child is still a bit small for the bike you have in mind but eager to learn, we suggest renting a smaller bike until they grow.

For online orders: The bike is delivered with the front wheel disassembled. The brake needs adjusting (video for adjustment), the handlebar needs to be aligned and tightened.
